Terms of use
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of itsjackgpt.com, the guides, prompts, skill files and articles on it, the jack gpt email list and waitlist, and the automated Instagram DMs that link here (together, the "site"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Who we are
The site is run by Jack Ryan, trading as jack gpt, of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us", "I"). You can contact us at hello.itsjackgpt@gmail.com.
The site is run personally and is separate from Klyr AI Pty Ltd. Anything you agree with Klyr AI is covered by Klyr's own agreements, not these terms.
2. Your rights under consumer law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other law that can't be excluded. Every limit and disclaimer in these terms applies only as far as the law allows.
3. Who can use the site
Anyone can read the site. To join the email list or waitlist, or to buy anything we sell in future, you must be 18 or over and give us accurate details, including an email address that belongs to you. Don't sign anyone else up.
4. The free guides and resources
We own, or are licensed to use, the content on the site, including the text, guides, prompts, skill files, templates, graphics, photos, videos, code and design. It's protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to these terms, you may:
- use, copy and adapt the prompts, skill files and templates in your own work and business, including work you do for clients; and
- share links to the site and quote short extracts with credit to jack gpt and a link back.
You may not, without our written permission:
- republish, sell, resell, license or give away our guides, prompts, skill files or articles (in full or in substantial part) as your own, or as part of a paid or free course, product, pack, template library, newsletter or membership;
- remove credits, notices or labels from our content;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site, or use its content to train, fine-tune or build a dataset for an AI model; or
- use our name, the jack gpt brand, or Jack Ryan's name, image or likeness in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected with you or your product.
5. AI tools and AI output
The guides show you how to use third-party AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT. You use those tools at your own risk and under their own terms, privacy policies and prices, which can change at any time.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete, out of date, biased or made up. Check anything important before you rely on it, and have a qualified person review it where the stakes are high.
- Only give an AI tool information you're allowed to share. Don't paste in confidential, client or personal information unless you have permission and the tool's settings suit it.
- Prompts, skill files, automations and agents can take real actions, such as sending emails, editing files, spending money or deleting data. Test them carefully, keep backups, and stay in control of anything they do.
- You are responsible for how you use AI tools and anything they produce or do, including making sure your use is lawful and doesn't infringe anyone's rights.
Results vary. Any time saved, output or outcome shown in a guide or reel is an example, not a promise of what you'll get.
6. General information only. Not advice.
Everything on the site, including the guides, the ANZ startup articles and the emails, is general information and commentary for educational purposes. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, technical or other professional advice, and we don't hold an Australian financial services licence.
The ANZ startup articles describe companies, funding rounds and valuations as reported at the time. They are not a recommendation or opinion about whether to buy, sell or hold any financial product or interest in any company, and they are not an offer of any financial product. Before making a financial decision, read any relevant disclosure documents and talk to a licensed professional.
7. Accuracy and corrections
We work hard to get things right, and the ANZ articles are fact-checked against public sources such as company announcements and reputable media. But facts change and mistakes happen. Funding figures, valuations, view counts and product details are accurate to the best of our knowledge as at the date the content was created, and may not be current. We don't guarantee that the content is complete, accurate or up to date.
If you spot an error, or you're from a company we've written about and something is wrong, email hello.itsjackgpt@gmail.com with the details and a source. We review every request and correct or update content where it's warranted.
8. Other companies, brands and links
jack gpt is an independent creator brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google or any other company whose products we mention, unless we clearly say so. Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify those products. "GPT" in our name refers to the general technology, not to any particular company's product.
Companies featured in our articles don't endorse us, and we don't endorse them, unless clearly stated. The site links to third-party websites and tools we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, availability, security or practices, and their terms apply when you use them.
For how we handle affiliate links, sponsorships and our own interests, see our Disclosures.
9. The email list and the 30-day challenge waitlist
Joining the email list or waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to buy anything. Joining the waitlist is an expression of interest only. It isn't an order, a reservation or a guarantee of a place, a price or a start date.
The 30-day challenge is still being planned. Its name, content, format, timing, price and whether it runs at all may change, and it may never launch. Anything described on the challenge page is a current plan, not a promise. If it does launch, it will be sold under its own terms, which will be shown to you before you pay.
10. Paid products
Everything on the site is currently free. If we sell products or programs in future, the price, what's included, and any product-specific terms will be shown at checkout. Those terms, together with our Refunds policy, will apply to that purchase. If they conflict with these terms, the product terms apply for that product.
11. Your conduct
When using the site, you must not:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, our accounts or our systems, or interfere with the site's security or operation (for example, by hacking, overloading it or introducing malware);
- submit fake, automated or bulk sign-ups, or use the forms or DMs to send spam;
- send us anything that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene or misleading; or
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your connection with any person or organisation.
We may remove you from the email list, block your access, or refuse service if you breach these terms.
12. Things you send us
If you send us feedback, ideas, survey answers, questions or suggestions, you agree we can use them, free of charge, to improve the site and plan future content and products. We won't publish your name, email or identifiable details without your permission. Don't send us anything confidential or that you want paid for.
13. Availability and changes
The site is provided free and "as is". We may change, pause, remove or stop any part of it, including any guide, at any time without notice. We don't promise the site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses or other harmful code. Use up-to-date security software, and download files at your own risk.
14. Limits on our liability
This section doesn't limit your rights under clause 2.
- Except for guarantees and rights that can't be excluded, we give no warranties about the site or its content, and all implied warranties are excluded.
- Where the law allows us to limit our liability for breaching a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, data, opportunity or goodwill, however it arises, including from negligence.
- We are not liable for any loss caused by third-party tools, websites or platforms, by AI output, or by your decision to rely on the site's content.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim and AUD $100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for our fraud.
15. Your responsibility to us
You are responsible for, and agree to cover, any loss, cost (including reasonable legal costs) or claim we suffer because you breach these terms, misuse our content, or break the law. This is reduced to the extent that our own breach or negligence contributed to the loss.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated terms apply from the date shown at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the updated terms. Changes won't apply to a purchase you've already made unless you agree.
17. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you're a consumer in another country, you keep any rights your local law gives you that can't be excluded.
- If any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down to the extent needed, or removed, and the rest stays in force.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
- These terms, the Privacy policy, the Disclosures and the Refunds policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
